Shakhtar and Benfica have reached an agreement on the transfer of midfielder David Neres.
25-year-old Brazilian joined the Donetsk club and penned a long-term deal just in January 2022. Together with the team, the winger went through the winter training camp. However, due to the war unleashed by Russia in the territory of Ukraine, he did not make a single competitive appearance as part of the Orange-and-Blacks.
